This is a fine quality large Paralejurus sp. trilobite fossil prepared on its original limestone host rock with exquisite detail. The trilobite appears as if it is crawling over the rock in a life-like manner - a pose that is a result of it being partially enrolled upon death. It features excellent preservation and an original olive green color. There are very well-detailed pleural spines and microscopic eye lens detail seen with magnification. The trilobite's color is a compliment to the original host rock that has a cream hue.
Similar to all trilobites found in the world, the only way these fossils are located is to break the trilobite-bearing rock therefore, repair and some restoration to the damage is unavoidable.
