For many years our team has collected the deposits of this unique fossil-bearing site and the amount of material we have seen in this time rivals any known collection. Given that, this specimen here is THE ONLY one we have ever seen or collected of its kind. Embedded in the "pea stones" or baritised sandstone geodes, one can find pinecones and fossilized wood. On very rare occasion, a shark tooth is found but never of this size or type. What is more amazing is that pure luck had the rock break along the plane of the tooth and the geode split without breaking the tooth! This is a MASSIVE example of this species. It is a form of extinct Oligocene Sand Tiger shark, Carcharias sp.. In every instance, as the geode is broken open, the few shark teeth that have ever been found have been small and are always damaged. Several different species have been found, but never in the life of any of our collecting team, has another one like this ever been discovered.
For the ultimate fossil shark tooth collector of super rare specimens, this is one to remember. AS FOUND with NO REPAIR OR RESTORATION. ONCE-IN-A-LIFETIME DISCOVERY!!!
