These CAPSIAN TRADITION flake tools were found on an exposed African Neolithic site in the Sahara Desert in Northwest Africa. Each was masterfully fashioned by African Neolithic humans (Homo sapiens sapiens) between 10,000 and 4,700 years ago.
This choice grade kit represents three superb examples of bifacial scrapers of this period. These tools are of the finest quality and intact. All tools exhibit the highest degree of skill in workmanship. The largest is especially interesting and large yet quite thin, having been extensive flaked on both sides to reduce the flake to its thinness.
