CLICK HERE TO LEARN MORE ABOUT WOOLLY MAMMOTH
This is a complete and top grade specimen of a lower molar from a EUROPEAN Woolly mammoth, Mammuthus primigenius, of the last Ice Age. This is a RARE example that possesses superb large plate structures and is complete. Very rarely are teeth like this ever found in this condition. Teeth from the true European (not Siberian) Woolly mammoth deposits rarely survive with root structures like this. Entire molar is heavy and solid of the highest preservation. This is an exceptionally well-preserved and fine grade example with stunning chocolate brown and tan natural colors. The chewing cusps are in excellent condition and the entire tooth is complete, not a partially broken specimen like the majority that are found and sold. This woolly mammoth tooth is INTACT with NO REPAIR AND NO RESTORATION. 100% GENUINE! The Woolly mammoth this tooth came from died with this tooth in its jaw evidenced by the complete root. This is not a common "spit" tooth you often see sold for a fraction of the price of this fine example. Tooth has been stabilized to preserve its extraordinary condition.
WOOLLY MAMMOTH TEETH are a popular display fossil of any collection. The famous Wooly mammoth can be considered the mascot animal of the Earth's final Ice Age and this massive beast most certainly gained respect to all that got in its way including both Neanderthals and modern humans.
