These CAPSIAN TRADITION arrowheads were found on an exposed African Neolithic site in the Sahara Desert in Northwest Africa. Each was masterfully fashioned by African Neolithic humans (Homo sapiens sapiens) between 8,500 and 6,500 years ago. The projectile points selected to make up this weapon set were hand-selected based on their premium features and condition from thousands of inferior quality artifact specimens.
These projectile points were fashioned out of chert and flint, and are both, unifacial and bifacial in design. All are exceptional and complete TOP COLLECTOR GRADE examples, high-graded out of thousands of inferior examples to make this fine set. All are INTACT and represent some of the many different styles found in this time period and tool tradition. Superb patina and wind sheen on some, from exposure. For this quality set, the price is a bargain which includes an excellent 2.25 inch specimen!
NO MODERN ALTERATIONS, RESTORATION OR REPAIR.
Caution should be exercised when purchasing African stone tools as the majority now sold on the market are either modern forgeries, or re-chipped to improve their appearance. Every item we sell includes a lifetime, unconditional written guarantee of not only authenticity, but condition, as well.
