REEDOPS
TRILOBITE LAB PREPPED
- Atlas Mountains, Morocco
DEVONIAN
PERIOD: 395 - 345 million years ago
This is a
beautiful and extremely pustulose example of a Reedops maurulus trilobite from the Devonian deposits in
the Atlas Range at the edge of the Northern Sahara. It is a
breath-taking specimen in its natural black olive green hue. Not only is it a beautifully and NATURALLY colored example
but its state of preservation and detail is superb. The entire
creature is intact with superb preservation and detail on both eyes down
to the tiny multi-lenses. The pose is a partially enrolled
"death pose" with its tail tucked under its body. Unlike
typical trilobite fossils, this is a professionally
prepared example using high-tech
micro-abrasive equipment to fully expose every bit of tiny detail.
The end result
was worth the extra expense and labor and has produced this fascinating,
fine quality fossil. SUPER
POSE AND PRESERVATION - TOP GRADE SPECIMEN AND PREPARATION!
