Very rare in its genuine form, the Thysanopeltis trilobite is a very graceful and bizarre type of scutellid with fragile and delicate pygidial spines as its hallmark.  While even fakes and heavily restored versions are seldom seen, finding an authentic example is quite a feat.  These wonderful Thysanopeltis specimens are guaranteed GENUINE and have zero to minimal restoration.  The entire trilobite and the surrounding rock surfaces have been carefully lab-prepped with high-tech micro-abrasive equipment to fully expose every bit of tiny detail.  The end result is definitely worth the extra expense and labor and yields these fine grade trilobite specimens.
