As a fantastic display specimen, this NATURAL double Hollardops trilobite shows two creatures on their original yellow limestone rock. Both trilobites and the surrounding limestone "hill", have been carefully lab-prepped with high-tech micro-abrasive equipment to fully expose every bit of tiny detail. The end result was worth the extra expense and labor and has produced this fascinating, fine quality fossil.
This double fossil was prepared to be viewed from every angle. The larger trilobite appears crawling over the rock with a smaller Hollardops situated off to the side in an enrolled "death pose". The entire fossil is natural with the exception of minor work done to one eye. Fine detailed eye lenses can be seen on both trilobites and entire bodies are without any restoration!
With their dramatic articulation and full inflation, this is a hard to beat natural double specimen with high recommendations as a fine quality multiple Hollardops example.
