This exquisite Asteropyge trilobite has been meticulously lab-prepped with micro-abrasives to reveal its awesome detail and fine preservation.   Both eyes are picture-perfect with the finest detail of each tiny eye lens intact.  There is absolutely NO RESTORATION on this creature.  Center spine is genuine and free-standing!  Pygidium is immaculate, 100% genuine and perfectly preserved. 

This specimen was excavated from the Lafhira area of the Atlas Mountains of Morocco, North Africa.  Asteropyge trilobites were shallow-dwelling marine animals that crawled across the prehistoric ocean floors nearly 400 million years ago.
