CRYPHINA TRILOBITE LAB PREPPED - Alnif, Morocco

Sorry about going AWOL with all the pictures on this one.  When I do a shoot, I take more pics than I need in case some aren't what I like but when I started reviewing the set I took on this guy, I just couldn't stop.  The first, second and fourth photos have almost an ethereal look with the beam of light coming down onto the specimen, quite thought-provoking.  

This is a quite rare species of trilobite called  cryphina.  It was professionally prepped in our lab in Morocco with high-tech micro-blaster equipment.  The only blemishes are two small nicks, one on the anterior of the central lobe and another very light scuff to the anterior of the creature's right eye, and that is being real picky to notice.  As you can see from the pictures, neither of these detract from the breath-taking presence this little bug makes.  The value is not only in the fact that this is such a rare species but the detail and articulation of this specific example is top notch!  Surface area of animal is fully cleaned and visible.  Both eye lenses are intact and extremely detailed.  Classic tiny snout and pointed pygidium are exposed and visible.  Highly recommended and a great value for the connoisseur of lab-prepped, rare and choice specimens.  100% NATURAL WITH NO RESTORATION!!!
