This is a high grade lab-prepped example of a Cryphina trilobite. Cryphina trilobites are always small but feature some unique anatomy. Most noteworthy is the pointed rostrum. This choice specimen is 100% NATURAL with no restoration. Most impressive is its dark olive green body contrasting in a highly aesthetic manner with the original red limestone host rock in which it was found. Both eyes are intact with full multi-lens detail in superb preservation. Only negative is missing portion of right genal spine, otherwise, choice! Classic tiny snout and pointed pygidium are exposed and visible. A great value for the connoisseur of lab-prepped, rare and choice specimens.
