This is a
fine example of Devonian species Proetus granulosus, a member of
the Proetida order of trilobites. The specimen has been meticulously lab
prepped with micro-abrasive equipment to best expose the delicate
detail. The
animal is well-preserved with very high relief as it appears ready to leap off
its original limestone host rock. Fine natural carapace is well
preserved and sports a gorgeous blended shade of cream and olive. This is a
