CROTALOCEPHALUS
TRILOBITE LAB PREPPED
Atlas
Mountain Range (Northern Sahara Desert), South Morocco
DEVONIAN
PERIOD: 395 - 345 million years ago
A bizarre
and fascinating species not often available. The Crotalocephalus
gibbus trilobite is an ugly yet, desirable addition to any collector's
cabinet. With it's fat, bulbous snout, tiny eyes and strange
raised surfaces down its lobes, the Crotalocephalus is one of our personal favorites of all trilobites. For
the specimens listed here, we first start out hand-picking the better examples from our inventory. Since all our inventory is
hand-selected to begin with, the specimens chosen for prepping are
always the better quality, far exceeding most that you will see on the
market. These
top choices are then carefully micro-blasted with state-of-the-art
equipment to truly bring out the best in the specimen. Minimal to
zero restoration on these trilobites.
