PARADOXIDES TRILOBITE - Anti-Atlas Mountain Range, South Morocco

This specimen is a special rare listing and the above pictures are of the actual item offered.  Excavated from the Paradoxides Beds in the Sahara Desert, Morocco this  piece is of the rarest quality and size with only 2% restoration.  The majority of Paradoxides trilobites require a great deal of restoration.  Very rarely is the actual limonite staining on the stone where the animal died evident.  Not so with this masterpiece.  Here, you can see the natural coloring dominates the specimen.  Out of the scores of some of the finest grade specimens of this species I have handled in the last two years, this one ranks as one of the BEST EVER!
