PARADOXIDES TRILOBITE - Anti-Atlas Mountain Range, South Morocco

CAMBRIAN PERIOD:  543 - 510 million years ago

This specimen is a special rare listing and the above pictures are of the actual item offered.  Excavated from the Paradoxides Beds in the Sahara Desert, Morocco this  piece is of the rarest quality and size with very minor restoration, far less than is most typically encountered in this species.  The majority of Paradoxides trilobites require a great deal of restoration.  Not so with this example.  This large fossil was part of a very rare and small lot of extremely fine grade Paradoxides and was hand-selected out from the group as being one of the finest of that lot.

This premium grade trilobite specimen is amongst the finest we currently offer and is being listed here separately, rightfully so.  Our regular stock Paradoxides are light years in quality compared to others offered so it is not mentioned lightly when I say this is one of our BEST!
