PARADOXIDES NATURAL TRIPLE TRILOBITE BED - Anti-Atlas Mountain Range, South Morocco

On rare occasions, words just can't be found to describe something.  This is one of those occasions.  This NATURAL! plate of no less than three incredible and complete Paradoxides trilobite specimens deserves a cherished place in a museum.  Even a fourth creature can be seen at the bottom of the slab in the last picture.

This specimen is a special rare listing and the above pictures are of the actual item offered.  Excavated from the Paradoxides Beds in the Sahara Desert, Morocco this multiple specimen showpiece is of the rarest quality with minor repair.  The majority of Paradoxides trilobites require a great deal of restoration.  Very rarely is the actual limonite staining on the stone where the animal died evident.  Not so with this masterpiece.  Here, you can see the natural coloring dominates the specimen.  Each of these creatures would be considered the finest natural specimens if occurring alone but here, the fact that three are naturally together is an extra special rarity.  

Just about every multiple trilobite bed sold is a composite where several individually occurring specimens are glued together.  Here, you have the real thing!  Look at the area where all three converge.  This is the indicator.  Usually, all individuals of a composite are separate and not near each other.  Here they actually overlap.  Furthermore, all occur at different levels, one even has a head appendage that juts out of the matrix and is NATURAL, another very important rarity.

This genuine bed consists of three science grade specimen trilobites and are the finest I currently offer.  The bed is being listed here separately, rightfully so.  My regular stock Paradoxides are light years in quality compared to others offered so it is not mentioned lightly when I say this is my BEST!
