 Many
of the fossil specimens we sell are not normally commercially available through any other
venue. This is due to a unique combination of our extensive field
collecting and preparation efforts coupled with exclusive
partnerships of many important world sources. The staff at Paleo
Direct consists of an association of U.S. and international partners, all of
which spend considerable time each year in the field prospecting,
collecting and preparing fossils.
 We are an American company
conducting year-round operations in the U.S. and abroad but with our
headquarters and showroom here in the Greater Orlando region of Florida. Every
specimen we offer is wholly owned by us (we do not broker fossils for
others) and available for private inspection by appointment
in our 4000 square foot gallery just outside Orlando, Florida.
 We operate
multiple fossil preparation
labs on our premises in Florida and in Europe. These preparation laboratories
are
fully outfitted with the latest
equipment for all aspects of specimen conservation and
preparation.
The majority of fossil specimens we sell were prepared in our
own
facilities by our staff. This is extremely important as it
allows us accurate and direct knowledge of every item we offer
with respect to its method of preparation as well as specific details of
repair and restoration.
 As a full-time
occupation for all the owners and employees of Paleo Direct, Inc., we
believe these lifelong efforts show in both WHAT we offer and HOW we
present
it.

 Each year we
travel the globe to oversee several of our
private collecting and
preparation operations abroad as well
as manage and coordinate multiple
international shipments of many uncommon and exotic
specimens to their final
destination here in the U.S.. Much of what these operations yield for us
are unique and
very high quality fossils that would not be of the type or caliber
typically found in
the public market -
show, auction or otherwise.
 This website spans
many thousands of pages and yet, does not even represent 5% of what we
currently have in stock. If you
are looking for a
certain specimen that you do not see listed, please contact
us as we
always have a large number of fossils not yet listed and / or in various
states of preparation.
 New specimens are
continually being added to this website, many selling within rapid order
of being listed. Because of this, we do not publish a printed
catalog since much of it would be outdated before it could even be
delivered. We also do not do shows as we feel the best
way to
showcase these rare specimens is here online which is most secure and
available around the clock, 7 days a week for all the world to see in a
convenient and peaceful setting. Our specimens are exclusively
made available only through this online venue or by personal inspection
at our gallery here in Florida.
