CETIOSAUR TOOTH - Tegana Formation - Kem Kem, Morocco

EARLY CRETACEOUS PERIOD:  145 - 112 million years ago

This CETIOSAUR tooth is a very robust, spoon-shaped specimen with a stunning, deep brick red hue.  The wear facet on the tip is pronounced and the enamel is intact.  Surface wrinkles that characterize this type specimen are also present.
