SPINOSAURUS
DINOSAUR TOOTH -
Tegana Formation - Kem Kem, Morocco
LATE
CRETACEOUS PERIOD: 96 - 66 million years ago
This
exceptionally large and choice grade Spinosaurus tooth is a real beauty
and an excellent investment specimen. Very rare in this size, the
tip is very sharp and without any damage or repair. Actually, what
is quite remarkable about this superb example is that there is
NO REPAIR AND NO
RESTORATION ANYWHERE ON THIS TOOTH! The
high-resolution close-up images above attest to just what class of tooth
this is. Our direct digging contacts provide us each year with a
small selection of choice grade examples and this is one of them.
The reason why we only get a small selection is that is all that is
found. This is one of a very few quality, over 3" INTACT
teeth found all last year. The formation has been dug intensely
for over a decade and the supply is finally nearing an end. Out of
over nearly 2000 Spinosaurus teeth in our inventory, this is the only
one that we have to offer in this size class. It's hue, enamel
condition and proportions are impeccable.
Teeth in this size
of this quality
are
becoming exceedingly rare. We strongly recommend this
amazing example to any collector because prizes like these are almost
never found anymore and steady appreciation of prices in the market are already
reflecting that. A
TRUE INVESTMENT GRADE TOOTH COMPLETELY INTACT AND WITHOUT ANY REPAIR!
