PTEROSAUR TOOTH - Tegana Formation - Kem Kem, Morocco

MIDDLE CRETACEOUS PERIOD:  96 million years ago

Now this Pterosaur tooth is so beautiful that it almost looks like a plastic imitation.  The surface is like a modern tooth and the enamel is black with swirls of blood red mixed in, VERY COOL!  There is NO REPAIR and NO RESTORATION and the tip is perfect with no damage of any kind.  The best side is shown and the back side has a small area of worn enamel on the body of the tooth but this does not detract from this overall super grade tooth.
