ORNITHOMIMUS COMPLETE THIRD DIGIT OF FOOT WITH CLAW

Hell Creek Formation - South Dakota (Harding County), U.S.A.

LATE CRETACEOUS PERIOD:  70 - 65 million years ago

Legally collected from private land in the Late Cretaceous badlands of the Hell Creek Formation, this is a complete and spectacular third digit of the foot of an Ornithomimus velox dinosaur.  The state of preservation is of the highest quality with complete mineralization to all four toe phalanges as well as the stunning dark walnut-colored claw.  All color is 100% natural and there is NO RESTORATION AND NO REPAIR to any part of this complete fossil set.

The Ornithomimus had three-toed feet with long slender claws of slight curvature.  The third digit is the outer complete toe of the dinosaur and the only digit to consist of four phalanges.

For the rarity and uniqueness of this complete articulated Ornithomimus digit, we cannot recommend it enough as each and all of the bones as well as the claw are in the absolute finest state of original preservation.  Certainly this will be one of the most impressive fossil specimens of any advanced collection!  A once-in-a-lifetime dinosaur fossil!

RARE AND OF SPECTACULAR PRESERVATION - EXCEPTIONALLY BEAUTIFUL AND UNUSUAL!

6" long overall, claw 2" in length along the dorsal surface
