MASSIVE MOSASAURUS BEAUGEI TOOTH IN MATRIX - Khouribga, Morocco

CRETACEOUS PERIOD:  65 million years ago

This remarkably well-preserved Mosasaurus beaugei tooth is very rare to be in this condition and to be so massive in size.  With its leading edge still buried in the original matrix, it is estimated to be just under 3" in length!  This tooth is unquestionably one of the most beautiful teeth we have seen with its soft cream and beige grain and CHOICE enamel.  Other than the most minute couple of nicks on the surface from natural feeding wear, this is a perfect specimen and without any breaks or age fracturing.  The scattered white objects in the matrix are fossilized coprolites, vertebrae and bones.

As a massive Mosasaurus tooth in matrix with NO REPAIR AND NO RESTORATION and of such fine preservation, we gladly recommend this rare example to collectors looking for both size and quality in their collection.  This tooth in matrix is one of the finest we could offer.
