Dinosaurs
TRIASSIC
to
LATE
CRETACEOUS PERIOD: 230
million - 65
million years ago
First
emerging in the Triassic Period 230 million years ago, dinosaurs went on
to rule the Earth for 135 million years by the time the Jurassic Period
arrived, until their demise at the end of the Cretaceous Period.
They were an extremely diverse group of vertebrates that gave rise to
enormous size beasts. Their success allowed them to thrive
throughout our planet and today, we can find their fossil remains on
every continent. Recent scientific discoveries have shed new light
and understanding of dinosaurs. Theories such a being warm-blooded
instead of cold-blooded, and having feathers with an ancestral link to
modern birds, has offered us a new perspective of these amazing extinct
creatures.
Collecting dinosaur fossils has been a favorite past-time for many
decades but the Jurassic Park films of recent time are what brought dinosaurs and
dinosaur fossils instantly into the spotlight of mainstream collectors.
Since that time, everyone seems to want an actual, authentic fossil.
Nothing
fascinates us more than the oddity of monsters and the real-life monsters
of prehistory have always captured our attention and held it firmly in
their jaws. One of the most baffling and mysterious of all Earth's
inhabitants is that of the dinosaurs.
Dinosaurs
are all that we fear and truly a story that never ends as we learn more
about them through the advances of modern science. It seems the more
we learn, the more incredible reality becomes, unfolding before us with
each new discovery. Yet, despite the dinosaur fossils we have
discovered and the technology we possess with which to analyze these
fossils, basic arguments persist regarding the cause of their extinction
and other fundamental topics such as if dinosaurs were warm-blooded or
cold-blooded. Will we ever know if dinosaurs were as intelligent as
the Jurassic Park movies depict them as?
It
is a true opportunity to be able to own actual dinosaur fossils. We
are one of the internet's largest premier sources of the finest quality
dinosaur teeth, claws, bones and
other remains. We personally hand select all specimens coming direct from source
countries and in many cases, actually collect out in the field. All
specimens are collected and acquired legally on private land and always
with the landowners' permission.
Of equal
importance, we have the knowledge and experience to properly identify
every specimen we sell and guarantee an accurate identification as well as
provide full disclosure regarding repair and restoration. No other
paleontological supplier offers as much information nor the quality of
images that we provide. All this so that you may make an informed
decision based on all the facts.
Every fossil we sell is
UNCONDITIONALLY
GUARANTEED FOREVER to
be GENUINE, LEGAL and PROPERLY IDENTIFIED.
All of us will probably
look back in our lifetime and reminisce about the moments we could find
and reasonably afford, not to mention just be allowed to purchase dinosaur
fossils.
Right now as we speak, gemstones,
rare minerals and precious metals are being formed by the earth's const
geologic processes.
Even as rare and expensive as they are, the earth never ceases creating
new deposits of these valuable and highly sought after resources. On
the contrary, dinosaurs are DONE. There will NEVER be anymore.
Once a formation or deposit has been exhausted, once a layer in the
geologic timeline is penetrated, those fossils cannot be found elsewhere
and they never will form again, unlike, rubies, diamonds, gold or
emeralds.
All fine quality dinosaur
(and other) fossils are far
more rare and fewer in
number than any precious world commodity. As the deposits and
producing regions near depletion, prices will be run up
to unattainable levels. We personally believe we will live to see that day in
our lifetime with respect to certain types, species and regions. The
rate that dinosaur fossils are now dug and sold far exceeds what most
people realize. Each year as more and more collectors demand piece
of history, this demand increases EXPONENTIALLY. No investment can
have a brighter future than that of a fine quality dinosaur fossil or any
other fine and rare fossil, for that matter!
The
dinosaur specimens we offer are not limited to what is just shown on
this site. Our inventory includes items that are not yet listed
and we always have several specimens in various states of completion in
our preparation lab.
